Everybody is familiar with the “before” and “after” poses that are commonly associated with showcasing Cosmetic/Plastic surgery procedures. But these days, patients are far more sophisticated and detail oriented than in the days when the hair club for men president would triumphantly claim that he was “also a client.”
Now, patients want to see how the medicine works, what are the potential side-effects and why to use a particular procedure or device vs. the plethora of competing products. The good news is we can and have done it all. From face-lifts, to dental implants, to breast reconstructive surgery, to fat removal; we’ve done surgeries that go way beyond the cosmetics.
Oh and we can do a “before” and after” too.
Like when we did a procedure on stem cell removal, attached to a common cosmetic surgery, or breast tissue replacement as part of an oncology animation. With almost 10 years of experience with 3D medical animation, you can be sure we will get the “medicine” as much as the aesthetics.
Medical animations depicting plastic surgery procedures must intricately depict the details and distinguish them vividly.
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery animation depicts how aesthetic changes are made in the appearance purely for the purpose of beautification. However, often plastic surgery is also directed towards treating conditions that result from a medical condition that has already been addressed, for instance, changes after massive weight loss, or scars from abdominal surgery. The surgeries performed post skin or tissue cancer, to correct birth defects, or for breast reduction to treat chronic back and neck pain are sometimes also referred to as ‘reconstructive surgeries’.
